Committing to a major build or retrofit before the design, budget, and schedule are nailed down is how projects go wrong. Our Pre-Construction Agreement is a defined, paid engagement that gets you real answers before you commit to construction:

Design with building science

We engage early in the design and planning process to ensure that buildability and best practice building science is implemented to start your project off on the the best footing.

Energy Modelling

You can’t optimize what you don’t measure. We help work the project through the energy modelling process to identify the strongest options for optimizing the envelope and mechanical systems.

Budget and Schedule

As we are working through what to build and how, we will keep an updated, itemized and market informed budget in front of you the whole time. Along with an updated construction schedule we make sure your project plan is as well informed as possible from the start.

Pre-construction work is billed hourly with a defined scope agreed up front. If we proceed to construction together, you go with an open-book agreement and no surprises. If you don’t, the plan and budget are yours to keep.
