Committing to a major build or retrofit before the design, budget, and schedule are nailed down is how projects go wrong. Our Pre-Construction Agreement is a defined, paid engagement that gets you real answers before you commit to construction:

• A collaborative design process with building-science input from day one
• Energy modelling to right-size your envelope and mechanical choices
• A detailed, line-item budget — real numbers from real trades, not allowances
• A realistic schedule and construction plan
• Rebate navigation (Efficiency Nova Scotia programs)

Pre-construction work is billed hourly at $100/hr with a defined scope agreed up front — typically a small fraction of construction cost. If we proceed to construction together, you go in with an open-book, cost-plus agreement and no surprises. If you don’t, the plan and budget are yours to keep.
