This high performance home that was designed by the team at Solterre Design Inc. for a young family that wanted to minimize the climate impact of their forever home was designed to be delivered with pre-fabricated panels that our team built and installed. We worked with Solterre on this in order to minimize site time, maximize quality control, and allow for unprecedented attention to detail when it comes to air-tightness – which is a crucial component of high efficiency building.

By opting for dense-pack cellulose as insulation and light wood framing for the structure, these walls we were able to minimze the carbon impact of the material choices while ensuring that the energy efficiency was the best we could possibly deliver. Ensuring that the project had the best holistic performance overall.
